If you place a nice lampshade in the corner of the room it not only looks elegant, it gives the room a very warm and cozy feeling. Also you can add some extra LED lights if you do not already have them as they add to the brightness of the room.
4. Place family photos on the wall: You can buy a nice cardboard sheet and stick some nice colored paper or velvet paper on it and arrange your family photographs on it and make a collage of it. You can then get it covered by a frame and transparent gelatin paper. Alternatively you can take some nice photo frames and place your favorite pictures in it and mount them on the wall.
5. Change the curtains of the room: One very effective way of making over your room is to change the curtains of the room. You may keep two sets of curtains for every room and keep changing them from time to time for the fresh feeling. If you keep your curtains long enough that they hit the floor they look nice and elegant. You can use sheer curtains that are transparent to let the light in during the day time.
