3.  What should be the placement of my gas stove as per the vastu?: The most important thing about the kitchen is the placement of the gas stove. The right direction for the placement of gas stove as per vastu is the southeast direction of the kitchen.  You should be facing in the east direction for cooking the food.  According to the placement of the gas stove you can decide where you want to put the shelves above the countertop and what type of storage will come right under the gas stove.  You may be wanting a storage for your ladles and pans and utensils that you need for cooking right under the gas stove.  If you are going to place a cooking range you will leave space for that and have your storage in the side.

4.  How often do I use my mixer-grinder, where should I place it?: You should ask how often you use your mixer-grinder while cooking.  If you want to put it on the countertop for the frequent use or if you want to put in the storage as you do not need it every day.  For a cleaner look you must opt for putting your mixer-grinder in the storage, however if you are using it with every meal that you are cooking then it could be cumbersome to take it out every time and in that case you can designate a permanent place for it in your countertop and keep cleaning the appliance after every use.

5.  Where would I place my gas cylinders?: It is important to decide a place for your gas cylinders.  If it would be placed inside the kitchen or there is a place outside the kitchen in your home like a store room or a storage in the kitchen balcony.  If you do not have any such storage then you will have to make a storage for it in the kitchen and design the rest of the storage for utensils accordingly.

6.  Where would I place my microwave?: You should answer this question as well as to where would you place your microwave?  If it would be placed on the countertop or inside a storage with a shutter or inside an open storage.  The place for microwave has to be decided for you to design a storage that includes a space for your microwave.

7.  Do I want space for storing my groceries?: You must decide storage for your groceries based on how frequently you buy your groceries.  If you stock up your groceries for a month then you need a storage for that and if you buy grocery in small quantities on as needed basis then you do not need much storage for it and you can keep storage space for other things.

8.  Where would I place my water storage?: You need to decide a place for your water storage.  You need to answer this question as to whether you would store water in a water dispenser or in an earthen pot or if you would install a water purifier.  If you are putting a earthen or steel pot for water storage, you will have to keep a separate space for that or else if you are installing a water purifier you will have to find a place for it.
